is at Lazy Acres Summer Camp. Lazy Acres is a Christian-based day camp conveniently located 2 miles N of Tomball off SH 249 with easy access from the Houston area including, The Woodlands, Conroe, Magnolia, and Cypress. We have packed our schedules with unique games & activities that have been exclusively kid-approved over the years to ensure every child has a blast at camp. It is this active approach, combined with our faith based program, which makes Lazy Acres a parent and kid favorite every summer!

2016 Theme Weeks
June 6-10 - Hot Rods & Sock Hop
Campers will partner together and build a card board box Hot Rod/ Cool Car. We’re going to take you back to the 50’s to have fun at a Sock Hop, build your own Hot Rod and go to the “Drive In.” It will be a week at camp you’ll never forget!!! We’re going to “Rock Around the Clock”!
Friday - We are taking the Hot Rods to the “Drive-In” then we will enjoy some ice cream during our Sock Hop.
June 13-17 - Pirate/Treasure Hunts
This week we have campers exploring their inner pirate learning to walk the plank. They will also build their own Pirate Ship. Campers will go on scavenger hunts, treasure hunts, and everyone will enjoy finding the loot! It is going to be a great week! ARR!
Friday – Camper’s come dressed in their best pirate outfit to search for the Treasure.
June 20-24 - Super Heroes
Who is your super hero and what super powers do they have? We will be playing super outrageous games throughout the week. Campers will have fun planning and creating their “Super Hero” costumes.
Friday - Camper’s come dressed as a Super Hero. Awards will be given for best and most creative costumes.
June 27-July 1 - Capture the Flag Championship
Favorite game of all time! Kids learn to organize, plan, strategize, and work together as a team to achieve the goals of the game. Awards given for a variety of accomplishments achieved during the game.
Friday – Come dressed in your best camo attire for the greatest Capture the Flag Game ever.
July 5-8 - Wet ‘n Wild Days
Campers will spend their days enjoying an awesome array of water activities including inflatable water slides, water balloons, rubber ducky races, water bucket brigades, water balloon volleyball, water shooter wars and much more.
Friday - Come dressed for all day water fun. Bring your own water toys to join in the fun!
July 11-15 - Jungle Week
Campers explore all about animals found in the jungle. Play fun outdoor group games. Along with a train ride to the jungle to “catch” a jungle animal.
Friday – Clint the snake man is bringing all his favorite non venomous friends to visit with us.
July 18-22 - Rock Star Week
Back by popular demand. Rock star day gives campers the chance to go a little crazy with temporary hair color, makeup, rock star outfits, and perform their favorite songs on stage - I hear foggers and bubble machines make campers feel like real stars.
Friday - Come dressed like a Rock Star and be ready to perform. Awards for all Rock Stars!
July 25-29 - Under the Big Top
Campers will plan, design and run their own carnival games. Campers will learn to juggle as well as learn how to perform other circus acts. The “Big Top” goes up ready for performances on Friday. There will be face painting and a wide variety of fun games with prizes throughout the week.
Friday – Campers come dressed and ready for their day under the big top.
August 1-5 - Our 8th Annual Mr. Capture the Flag & Ms. Lazy Acres!
Boys play extreme games of “Capture the Flag” all week with awards given on Friday! Girls will plan, organize and execute a fashion show with runways, lighting, and music. Prizes and Crowns awarded.
Friday – Boys come in your camo- be ready for a game of capture the flag. Girls-Bring all your Fashionista style and show us your DIVA side during the fashion show.
Aug 8-12 – Lazy Acres Our Camps “Got Talent”
Campers will practice individually or in groups to perform the winning act. Can you sing, dance, draw, play an instrument, and shoot hoops or _____? Come show our camp what your talents are. Prizes and awards given out at the Camp Talent Show.
Friday – Come dressed ready to perform. Dress the part for your act in the show. Prizes will be awarded.
Aug 15-19 – Wacky Olympics
Let the Games Begin! Campers enjoy a week of fun and silly games. They will compete individually and as a member on a team Our games are designed to motivate all our campers as well as encourage teamwork. Campers will develop a sense of camaraderie.
Friday – Campers will compete for the GOLD.

2016 SUMMER CAMP DATES

It's only March, and my kids are already asking when camp begins!!! They both had so much fun and met a lot of new friends that we've kept in touch with. The counselors are wonderful with the kids. So patient!! Never a dull moment and a variety of activities to keep the kids busy and excited. Looking forward to another great summer with our Lazy Acres families!
